Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of Holy, Saint Casimir, Confessor. He was the son of King Casimir IV of Poland and Elizabeth of Austria. In the midst of all the moral dangers of the court, he was an example of piety and above all, preserved in his chastity. He was also faithful to bodily mortification in a high degree, he gave abundant alms to the needy, and always meditated on the sufferings of Jesus Christ. While on his journey to Lithuania, he faithfully past away at the court of Grodno, March 4, 1484.
