Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of Holy, Saint Christopher, Martyr. He is one of the most popular Saints of the East and West. While carrying people across a raging stream, it is believed that he carried the Holy Child Christ Jesus across the same stream. Hence, his name Christopher, meaning, "Christ Bearer". He is the patron of travelers and is invoked by many against storms, plagues, other disasters. He Faithfully died a martyr under the reign of Emperor Decius.
