Saints Day

"Traditional Catholic Church"

Today the traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Holy, Saint Margaret Mary, of Alacoque, Virgin. She was born in the diocese of Autun, France. Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque consecrated her heart, while yet still a child, to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus appeared to her numerous times displaying His Holy Sacred Heart, sometimes as a burning furnace, and sometimes torn and bleeding on account of the coldness and sins of many people. As a Visitation Nun, this Saint was chosen by God to reveal to the Catholic World, the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the year 1675. She, together with Father de la Colombiere, S.J., were the chief instruments in the institution of the Sacred Heart of Holy Jesus. She faithfully pasted away on October 17, in the year 1690.
