Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Athanasius, Bishop, Confessor. He was born at Alexandria towards the end of the 3rd century. He was elevated to the Bishopric of Alexandria, he became the champion of the Faith against Arianism. He faithfully pasted away in the year 373, leaving many religious and apologetic writings.
