Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Bernard, Abbot. Confessor, Abbot, and Doctor of the Church, Saint Bernard was the guiding light of the Church in the 12th century. At the age of 22, he became a Cistercian Monk. Appointed Abbot of the Monastery of Clairvaux, he was the arbiter of his century. Preacher of the second crusade, he wrote many pages on the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. He Faithfully past away in the year 1153.
