Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Pius V, Pope, Confessor. Saint Pius V, of the Dominican Friar Order, was a Pope of great and Holy sanctity. His pontificate was one of the most glorious of the 16th century. He enforced obedience to the decrees of the Council of Trent, He perfected the Catholic Missal, and Breviary. Saint Pius V came from a poor Holy family, he was a Dominican friar of his fifteenth year, this holy Pope, a simple and Religious, a Bishop and Cardinal was famous for His intrepid defense of the Holy Faith and the discipline of the holy Church, He faithfully passed away in the year 1572.
