✝️ Saint John 😇️

Tuesday, 05/06/2025 - All Day
Saints Day
"Traditional Catholic Church"
"Saint John Before The Latin Gate."

Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint John The Apostle. He was brought to Rome under the rule of Domitian and He was condemned to be plunged into a cauldron of boiling oil, but He then came forth unharmed from his torment. He was then exiled to Patmos. Besides the solemn feast two days after Christmas, the Church commemorates the attempt to put Saint John to death, He then came more vigorous than before. A church now marks the site which a late tradition assigns to this event. This feast celebrates the martyrdom of the evangelist who, according to the prophecy of Jesus, who was also like a brother, to drink of the chalice of the Passion, in order that he might have the right to one of the highest thrones in the Messianic kingdom of Heaven, which his mother begged for him.
