Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of, Saint John I, Pope, Martyr. He was Pope under the reign of, Arian King Theodoric of the Goths who had him thrown into the dungeon at Ravenna. After his captured, He suffered martyred in prison, May 27, in the year 526. His body was then carried to Rome and buried under the porch at Saint Peter's.
