Saints Day
"Traditional Catholic Church"
Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Boniface, Bishop, Martyr. He was a native and born in Devonshire England, about the year 680. When his first attempt to convert pagans having failed, he then went to Rome where he received the blessing from Pope Gregory II on his mission, and then set forth with the papal authority to preach to the German tribes as a Benedictine monk. He then became the apostle and first archbishop of the Germans. While engaged in his earnest work, he, with other Catholic's, faithfully suffered martyrdom, along with thirty of his companions, on June 5, 755. Pius IX extended the Office of St. Boniface to the whole Church.
