"Traditional Catholic Church"

Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of, The Holy Machabees, Martyrs. The seven Machabees brothers were the first martyrs to suffer for the true Catholic faith before the advent of Jesus Christ. They were martyred during the reign of the tyrant Antiochus Epiphanes, the evil impious king of Syria, all for Jesus and the Catholic Church. Also, they are the only martyrs who suffered for Christ that are honored with a feast of universal observance. Their Holy relics were placed in the Catholic Church of Saint Peter's Chains beneath the new alter on August 1st.
