Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of, Saint Hyacinth, Confessor. A glorious Apostle, he became acquainted with Saint Dominic in the course of a journey to Rome. He became a Dominican and labored indefatigably for the establishment of the Order of Preachers in Poland. On the eve of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, in the year 1257, he was advised of his coming death. In spite of an unrelenting fever, he celebrated Mass on the feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as a dying man, He was anointed at the foot of altar, and Faithfully past away on this great Feast day of our most Holy Mother.
