Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Philip Benizi, Confessor. He was born at Florence Italy, on the feast of the Assumption in the year 1233. Saint Phillip became a lay brother and then was ordained Priest in the Servite Order, he became General of the Order, he also repeatedly refused the Papacy's errors that were going on. In his humility of heart, he put the true teachings of the Catholic Church Jesus established first instead of the errors of those who were in charge at that time. It is recorded that when He was dying, He repeatedly asked for His book, but the infirmarian did not understand his request, Saint Philip made signs that He wanted his Crucifix, which was the book which He was accustomed in meditating in. Saint Philip Benizi faithfully pasted away in the year 1285.
