Today the traditional Catholic Church also celebrates a Mass for, Saint Nicomedes, Martyr. Born at Rome, Saint Nicomedes, a Roman priest, was ordered to sacrifice to false gods. Upon refusing, he was martyred for the true Faith during the reign of Domitian, it was about the year 90 AD.
