"Traditional Catholic Church"

Today the traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Holy, Saint Callistus, Pope, Martyr. He was born in Rome and succeeded Saint Zephyrinus as Pope. Saint Callistus in the third century, during the reign of Alexander Sererus, then when a deacon, was entrusted by Pope Saint Zephyrinus with the rule of the clergy, and set by him over the cemeteries of the Catholic's at Rome and, at the death of Zephyrinus, Saint Callistus, according to the Catholic church, succeeded to the Holy Apostolic See. And then a decree is ascribed to him by appointing the four fasts of the Ember seasons, but his name is best known in the connection with the old cemetery on the Appian Way, which was enlarged and adorned by him, and is called till day the Catacomb of Saint Callistus. During the persecution then under the Emperor Severus, Saint Callistus was driven to take shelter in the poor and populous quarters of the city, and yet, in spite of all these troubles, and of the care of the Catholic Church, he made a diligent search for the body of Calipodius, one of his clergy who had faithfully suffered martyrdom shortly before, and by being cast into the Tiber. When he found it he was full of joy, and buried it, with hymns of praise. Saint Callistus was faithfully martyred for the Holy faith in the year of, 223 October 14th.
Reflection: In the body of a Holy Cathoic we see that which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which even now is precious in the eyes of Holy God, Who will always watch over it, and one day raise it up in glory to shine forever in His Holy kingdom. Let our actions always bear witness, to our one and only belief in these truths.
