"Traditional Catholic Church"

Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the feast of Holy, Saint James of The Marches. He was also known as Dominic Gangala, Jacob de Marchia, and Giacomo della Marca. He was a Franciscan Friar Minor, preacher, and writer. He was born in the year 1391 at Monteprandone, Italy. In his young age he was sent to the University of Perugia, where he progress in learning, soon he was qualified to be chosen preceptor to a young gentleman of Florence. Fearing that he might be engulfed in the whirlpool of worldly excesses, Saint James applied himself to prayers and recollection. When traveling near Assisium he went into the great Church of the Portiuncula to pray, and being animated by the fervor of the holy men who were there to serve God, and by the example of blessed Saint Francis, he was determined to petition in that very place for the habit of the Order. Here he began his spiritual war against the devil, the evils of the world, also the flesh, and with assiduous prayers and extraordinary fastings with joy. For forty years, a day never past by without taking to his discipline. After he was elected Archbishop of Milan, he fled, and could not prevail on to accept the office. After several miracles were preformed by him at Venice and some other areas, he also cured the dangerous sicknesses of the Duke of Calabria and the King of Naples. Saint James faithfully pasted away at the convent of the Holy Trinity of his Order, near Naples, on the 28th of November, in the year 1476. He was eighty five years old, seventy of which he had spent in a religious state.
