Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Holy, Saint Melchiades, Pope, Martyr. In the year 314, Saint Melchiades faithfully pasted away after having suffered much during the persecutions of Maximian. The Church, therefore, ranks Him as a martyr although He pasted away of a natural death.
